  • Serves as the point of contact for the media on topics related to the Office of the Director鈥檚 activities and trans-四虎影院initiatives. Manages media interviews for the 四虎影院Director and other 四虎影院leaders. Coordinates with NIH鈥檚 Institutes and Centers on media inquiries.
  • Issues news releases for the Office of the Director and coordinates wide dissemination of 四虎影院announcements to the public, media and stakeholders.
  • Organizes news briefings and media attendance at 四虎影院events.
  • Coordinates with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other federal agencies on media inquiries and strategy.
  • Manages speeches, presentations, blogs and social media for the 四虎影院Director.
  • Oversees strategic planning for communication-related activities for the Office of the Director and trans-四虎影院initiatives.
  • Manages the Public Information Officers (PIO) Network聽connecting 四虎影院grantee institutions with 四虎影院communication specialists to disseminate information about biomedical research.
  • Through the 四虎影院Visitor Center, leads tours for visitors to the NIH鈥檚 Bethesda, MD campus.
  • Leads the Office of Community Liaison to address 四虎影院activities that may affect the community surrounding the NIH鈥檚 Bethesda, MD campus.
